We will have a first beta version in early March. Thanks to the robust functionality already trusted by hundreds of thousands of Unpluq users, we’re building on a solid foundation to deliver an exceptional experience for families.
What to Expect from Unpluq Family
Unpluq Family will be a standalone app available on both Android and iOS. Parents will log in and set up the app on their children’s devices, with features designed to make digital parenting seamless:
- 📦 Simplified onboarding: A fully revamped setup process to make onboarding as easy as possible for parents.
- đź”— Unique device linking: An Unpluq Tag can be uniquely paired to a device, preventing children from bypassing restrictions with additional tags.
- 👉 Subscription through our website: Since Unpluq Family supports multiple devices, subscriptions will be managed directly via the Unpluq website, not through the App or Play Stores.
- 📱 Tag-only functionality: In the initial release, Unpluq Family will work exclusively with the Unpluq Tag as the distraction barrier.
- 🛡️ Secure settings with a six-digit code: Any changes to schedules or settings will require a 6-digit code sent to the parent's email address, ensuring only parents can modify settings.
